Freedom for All

Our good friend Harris Elliott’s debut short film “Freedom for All” is now available to watch on Nowness.

In July, we were lucky enough to have been in the audience for the launch of Peter Kennard’s Archive of Dissent exhibition, highlighting 50 years of his most iconic and influential images of resistance and dissent. (If you have not made it over to Whitechapel Gallery for this, we strongly recommend it!)

It was a fascinating evening with Peter Kennard in conversation with our good friend Harris Elliott, poetry reading by Kae Tempest, and music by the collective Arfoud Brothers & Sisters. That Peter chose this evening to start the proceedings by previewing Harris Elliot’s debut short film says more about their relationship and the strength and beauty of Harris’s work than anything we could add. It was a privilege to have been in the crowd!
The short film “Freedom for All” is a symbolic visual rallying cry from Artist and creative director Harris Elliott and Director Manuel Dallalbanow in response to the present conflict and humanitarian crises in the DRC, Sudan and Gaza.
