STUDENT SNAPSHOT
We wanted to share the fantastic portfolio pages of Layla-Rose Stone, a 2025 graduate of the Ravensbourne BA Fashion course, who found us through our Student Research Sessions.
We were happy to sponsor Layla with high-resolution image packs of garments from our archive. To create this ‘trompe-l’œil’ effect, Layla printed images of distressed denim, biker jackets, and trousers onto leather, pushing these classic styles into a new form. Our hi-res image packs tend to be most useful for designers in the research and development phase, so it was great to see our images used in new and inspiring ways.
Working with young creatives is something we love, whether through hosting workshops for universities, running our bi-weekly student research sessions, or supporting projects such as this. Vintage can be a priceless resource for creative inspiration in contemporary design. Thank you, Layla, for sharing your fantastic work with us!
